Project Overview
One of Australia’s earliest concrete-framed skyscrapers, the Astor is a heritage-listed building in the heart of Sydney, just meters from the Sydney Harbour and the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Astor’s management body approached Anchor Safe Rope Access to ensure the iconic heritage facade was thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. We proposed scheduled cleaning and preventative maintenance on a 6-monthly cycle, using rope access for efficiency and minimal impact on the building’s residents.

With 6 monthly site visits and open communication, our team promises results all year round. Our rope access team conduct periodic window & facade cleaning on the entire exterior of the Astor as well as rust treatment and concrete and render repairs.
Measures are put in place to ensure the safety of the residence throughout the course of the window & facade clean as well as taking extra care when abseiling down the face of the building by using shoe protectors.
